The LMCD will have the meeting Wednesday 12/10/2014 @ 7:00 PM to talk about and possibly make a decision on the “Quiet Waters” area. I will be attending this meeting and I encourage all of you that would like to attend to be there.
Location of meeting:
Wayzata City Hall
600 Rice Street
Wayzata, MN 55391
I do not believe that they will allow a public comment on the matter as that was at the last meeting.
I really think that if you feel that you would like to have a final say in the matter, please send an email to Greg Nybeck at [email protected] with your last ditch effort opposing this change. Also copy me at [email protected].
If you decide to send a final email, please include your name, address and bay you live on (if you live on the lake) at the top of the email so they know who you are and your position on the matter.
If you would like to read more about the information, you can visit the following links:
Petition and packet info (including all emails they have received on the matter):

Here is a direct link to the PDF board packet. There is over 100 pages of very good juicy material:

We need your help!
Please help stop the proposed “No Wake” area on Lake Minnetonka. We’ve signed the petition on this site and know you would agree to do the same. Please visit http://EnjoyTonka.com and get informed about how Lake Minnetonka could change forever. Then sign against the proposed “No Wake” that some home owners are trying to get passed through the LMCD.
Also, please share this site on Facebook and email your friends that use the lake by clicking here:

Let’s make this a success together and stop the No Wake!
Thanks for your help,
(I recieved this from Ed Rockwell.)
Please attend if you can, let your voices be heard.
Once again, I will be fighting another fight, keeping common sense in place with the Carver County Parks Commission and the 2015 AIS Inspections plan.
