Hello all. Just quick couple question to people who are familiar with livescope. Question one is. How do you remove the grid from the picture. And second is it normal for the display to lag behind your jigging stroke? Thanks.

I don’t have it in front of me but I believe its as simple as menu > grid overlay > hide and yes there is a bit of a lag when see your jigging.

There are quite a few good youtube out there.

Well that is interesting. Nice to hear feedback from verified users. The info I was getting from the salesperson I talked to, indicated otherwise.

What I am using right now is a HDS-7 standard 2D sonar. I see my jig when vertical jigging (as a continuous line on the screen) and yes there is a slight lag with this unit as well.

Yes there is lag compared to a dedicated flasher, but its very minor…you wont care at all as you’ll be watching the fish approaching anyways..

2 upgrades ago (December) there was lagtime. I don’t notice lagtime anymore 20’ or less with a level transducer and 0 degree tilt.

Lots of livescope ice issues can be solved with how your transducer is positioned.

I also have no lagtime issues with a helix 7 with upgraded software.

FYI, there is a new update available for the livescope. Looks like some new color pallets, option to remove the on screen buttons and other stuff.
I did the upgrade using the Garmin Active Captain app.
