Worst kept secret is now official (i’m sure the BPS Ad leak moved up their release timeline)

    https://www.garmin.com/en-US/newsroom/press-release/marine/garmin-unveils-livescope-plus-with-enhanced-resolution-clearer-images-and-even-better-target-separation/

One item of note is that the LVS34 is 1” longer than the LVS32, so it wont fit inside a 6” icehole.

Cool – thx for sharing. I’m getting closer to switching over. Would be nice to see some videos comparing livescope to livescope plus come out now.

How much do you think the LVS32 will come down? Too bad I am too fat to hook.

not much I suspect, to some the upgrade won’t be worth it as the images are only marginally better (from what i’ve seen) and it appears the UHD versions of the Echomap units are required for it, so if you have a non UHD you can’t use it (that’s alot of owners)

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the LVS32 as long as it’s the newer cable design, you’ll see a ton of original Livescope owners trying to sell their old LVS32 transducers that are likely close to failing with the cable stress point issue, those I would avoid like the plague!
