Good thing this is on-line so all can see ! I heard Jesse Ventura was boycotting the Fair, because you can’t smoke weed there. I guess it being legal like Beer.. why is it not allowed at the Fair ??? Second hand smoke maybe ??? crazy

What happens to all the fish afterwards? Do they pressure wash each one off then put them in a cooler with distilled water then go release them? Seems likely to spread something if not handled like a biohazard.

They go back where they came from. The DNR pond on Warner road. About a 1/4 mile towards DT St Paul from Hwy 61 going west. Right side of the road. That fenced in pond.

LOL! I wanted the full screen version so I clicked on the YT link. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to pull your chain. They both look similar. )

What’s with all the “stuff” floating around in the tank?

    Can’t all be fish poop.

Cool to watch the live feed though!

The bait fish look a little nervous. Dumb question probably, but are those put in for food?

Someone in waders just walked through.

I read an article that says they feed them fatheads 20 gallons at a time in the off-season pond, they must put them in the fair pond too I would think.

Worms? Like the kind that come out of the butthole not the ground. I think I saw a fish swim by that had one hanging out.

Wonder if anyone has pulled out a travel rod and tossed in a jig ever?

Yep I climbed the fence as a kid and me and my buddies were asked to leave! The guy explained why and so we left with a story to tell.

The density of fish seems higher this year, but maybe they lose a few before I make it to the Fair. I was once told that the Trout ended up in Courthouse, the reason for my large Brook Trout catch one year- I think this has been stopped as disease may have spread.

I bet that summer pond costs a buck to upkeep when there’s that many different species. Some of them are a little sensitive.

I watched for about 10 minutes and didn’t see any trout, but I know i’ve seen them in there before. They must have to keep that pond somewhat cool if they’re in there. Most fish look like they’re in a lot better shape than anything in the Cabela’s tank. Would be interesting to know how much predation happens. I bet those Pike and Doggies don’t care if they’re captive or not.
