Little walleye

    Fished 2 new lakes the past 2 days. Yesterday I was met by about a dozen 8 to 10″ walleyes. Today, another new lake, and the same thing. Makes a guy wonder where the bitter fish went…

    Yes, that’s a separate issue itself. But the issue “at hand” is the little walleye! Struggling to find anything decent. Might have to just start playing with the crappies

    Headed shallower tomorrow night in hopes of finding the adults. Fished the edges of an old cabbage bed before I landed on the spot with these little guys. Hoped it’d be holding walleye but nothing in the hour I was there. Maybe try some deep holes and see if they’re suspended tomorrow also…
