Little Boy?

Hey guys, going to a buddy’s cabin this weekend and we’ll be fishing it, any advice for this time of year? He’s on the Northwest side of the lake, and a pretty novice fisherman. They fish the weedline right in front of his cabin and pick up pike and the occasional walleye. I’m just wondering if the fish will still be in shallow, or if we should focus on all the interesting looking main lake structure? Probably go for whatever’s biting, panfish or walleye.
