The CC. Just me and the kiddos.

Figured it wouldn’t be a great way to fish for the kids anyway so we stayed away. Missed a deadhead by about 3’ though.

I came pretty close with a dead head as well. Hopefully you got the kids on a few fish. Definitely to some work to figure out a real bite.

I ordered a 24v 100ah battery this weekend Saturday afternoon and it’s already at my house by noon Tuesday.

I ordered a Dakota Lithium charger at the exact same time, and the order has yet to have a shipping label created.

I ordered mine Sunday about 5 and it’s still in CA as of today. Hopefully it shows up this week yet.

I’ll throw some pics in the rainy thread. Bite was definitely a grind compared to last year. Caught some nice fish in some fantastic weather. Seemed to do pretty well compared the reports we heard.

The shunt and digital display only monitor the front 3 12v batteries set up by in series for the trolling motor. The shunt needs to wire it into the final power supply. The tough part was draining the batteries down to a low enough voltage, about 5%, to program % used so that a use curve can be created. I wanted a permanent display for the trolling motor without the need for Bluetooth.

Is that reading all 3 in parallel or each battery individually?

I have a pair of 12V Heated Bluetooth Group 24 100 AH Litimes with a 20 amp two bank (10×10) LiTime charger running my 24V Ulterra. The boat is a 1650 Lund Rebel.

    They absolutely kick ass!

I’ve fished them pretty hard in the rivers this spring and have yet to drop below 75% capacity (according to the Bluetooth app), and they recharge to 100% in 2-3 hours.

    Confirmed from LiTime the following:

Charger needs to support LiFePO4 Battery charging mode and charging voltage between 14.2V-14.6V. 10A is sufficient for charging and heating the battery.

Minn Kota Precision 330PCL supports lithium/LiFePO4 charging with Lithium mode, provides a voltage of 14.5, and mine is a 3 bank 10A per charger.

    Time to order the heated-smart 100ah 12V!

    Update with my 3 – 100ah batteries.
Fished the rainy river last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Temps on Thursday night got down to below freezing. There was plenty of frost on my boat Friday morning.
The entire trip I used my on board Minn Kota MK 330 PC charger on the AGM setting. Every morning I had 3 flashing green lights on the charger indicating all 3 batteries were fully charged.

I don’t know how much power was used each day but everything worked flawlessly.
I can’t even answer if the heaters kicked on or not.

As I have stated in other posts. I do have a 20 amp LiTime charger and have used the charger just not on this trip. That thing will charge each individual battery very quickly.

Using the AGM setting for over a year now. Has worked great with no issues. Full charge on lithiums.

They make a balancer which is recommended for batteries in parallel. I purchased one for my 36V system and will be connecting this weekend when I install.

I also purchased their new 16V 100ah battery as a stand alone for my scope unit.

As others have said here, purchase the chargers specifically for these lithium batteries to protect your investment and hopefully for the longevity.

Better order your stuff soon before the state side supply is gone or you will be paying Tariffs.

They advertise the he** out of this on the battery websites. My 24v 100ah is sitting here and I need to get it wired up this weekend. It shipped out of Houston I believe? They must literally have thousands of each type and millions in inventory here stateside. At some point that will be an ugly change though with regards to pricing

I see that they have starting batteries in stock. Not cheap but it will take some weight out of the boat.

Will the discount be down to 50 % off instead of 57 % off? They are a bit funny with the way that they market their pricing structure. Are we at the 245% tariff today?

I got it too. How much of this is a scare tactic and then 1 month from now they are advertising a 60% discount at the same price it is today

I have 100 ah batteries which are great but the 140 ah offering looks even better. Then they came out with the 165 ah which would even be better. grin

The 165 ah was offered maybe 2 months ago at pre-buy at $289 then went to $329 and today is at $389.

Sorry, had a typo at $189 but I corrected to $289
