Not sure if anyone is having this problem but if you email strikemaster they will send you a free updated adapter. I received mine 3 days after I emailed them and the new one is definetly a lot better

I agree. They sent me a new adapter as well once I told them what drill I have. I was having a hard time with it not locking in properly and they sent me a new one.
