Line recommendationa for Ceymar-10

    Looking for some suggestions and opinions on what line I should run on Ceymar-10,s. Mainly I will be fishing Walleye, trout, and maybe get onto some Pike where I will be fishing. Brand,# test,mono,fluoro, etc.

    I used line that I had laying around. 6# trilene XT mono for a backer then 8# suffix 832 braid (non ice) to 8# Pline Floroclear leader. I have another one rigged up same way but with 6# Pline Floroclear leader.

    Sounds like a winner to me. I, personally, use the ice braid and go a little lighter (usually 6#) for walleye. But, not much difference there. I also use a couple ft of fluoro leader.

    I sort of pick my line as the whole set up. So I also consider rod power and lure weights as well. Being that this is the ultralight reel, I would consider nothing more than 4# test diameter type lines in mono sizing.

    If I consider pike, I consider braid/superlines.
