1-23-07 Stagecoach report

I made it out to Stagecoach yesterday for a few hours and blanked. I was marking a ton of fish but couldn’t get them to hit anything. I had most fish coming in on the bottom but after sundown they were coming through from 3-5 ft off the bottom. Usually those are the fish most likely to hit. That was deffinately not the case last night. They had to be crappies as they were some decent marks. I’m begining to wonder if they will turn on or not. It’s been my expierence that when we have ice and lose it in Dec. when it comes back again fishing is alway really tough for a while. They must think spring is here and then all of a sudden it’s winter again. I guess I’ll just have to head to Serman this weekend where they have had ice all winter.
