The good news is that according to Social Security Admin I have a much better chance on living past 110 years old than I would have ever expected.
At 110 there’s a pretty large gap between being kept alive and living. My grandmother died at 112. I was holding her hand at her last breath. Her last three years were not the best. I sure as hell don’t want to live to 110.
There are a couple over 300. I guarantee they never trust a fart.
They are finding more and more ways to keep people living longer. I’m not always sure longer means better. Lots on industries benefit by keeping people living longer. I also don’t desire to live to be 110. Give me till 90 with good health and I’ll take it.
I wonder if some of you are missing the point. Lots of internal findings with the DOGE team showing accounts receiving SS payments past 110-300 years old. Obviously that department hasn’t been cleaning up much.

With the advancement of tech and medicine, I have no doubt if we don’t get destroyed or destroy ourselves, there are people being born today that will live to 150. We better get on those term limits ASAP.

Where is evidence they are receiving payments? I just saw charts of people not marked dead and eligible.
I fear the day when money buys super longevity through special treatments or drugs.
That would not be good for humanity.

Do you think the bum on the street will get the same health care as Pohlad,Gates,Musk?

From what I seen… checks are being cashed… not direct deposits… actual checks.

I think DOGE should focus on Musk’s cash cow, aka the US government contracts.
Now, back on topic.

Are you talking about the ones Rachel Madcow said he got…. during Bidens regime ?!
See if I can get this to post.
Yeah, so back to my question earlier these are people in the database not marked dead. There is no evidence I’ve seen presented that they receive payments.
It’s also not some big revelation, here’s an article about the same thing 10 years ago: https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/03/10/392112708/6-5-million-social-security-numbers-linked-to-those-112-or-older
Maybe he could have just read OIG reports about it? Those have always been available

Not a chance. Money/status already buys access to advanced medicine or treatment options.
Magic Johnson has been living healthy with HIV for a long time. If I was diagnosed with HIV at that same time there’s no way I’d be able to afford the drugs to live.
Does anyone here remember when Trump nearly died of Covid, but was swept away and given treatment options that weren’t availble to the general public and survived no worse for the wear?

Go ahead and look, it’s all posted on the internet for you to see. Unlike many of USAID’s transactions that had been hidden from public view until now.
Do not believe everything you read on X.
Government discovers millions in payments to deceased recipients after getting access to Social Security’s death records.
Officials project $215M more to recover by 2026, but need permanent access to stop the payments.
Turns out stopping checks to dead people saves money – who knew?
Source: Associated Press
This was reported prior to DOGE even starting to investigate this…

I’ll believe the people pushing for audits before I believe the ones screaming about audits being unconstitutional.
Reef.. taken from your article ?
The review noted that in one case a man opened bank accounts using several different Social Security numbers — two of which belonged to number-holders born in 1869 and 1893, respectively. That would make one of them 145 years old and the other 121. The Social Security Administration’s system indicated that both number-holders were alive.
You don’t think a guy opening 2 bank accounts for people long deceased is fraud ? And these were just 2 of Several… of course he was depositing the checks in these accounts…. why else ?

And why on Earth would someone be against people auditing the books for departments that havent had a balanced budget OR can explain at all where the money is all going? Follow the screaming or those upset you will find who is the benefactor. Like the Federal judge who overturned the USAID freeze only to find out his wife BENEFITS/WORKS for/from USAID.

Of course that guy was committing some form of fraud but not necessarily receiving SS payments. You either need a SSN or ITIN to open a bank account so he used somebody else’s SSN. Why does that mean he received and deposited SS checks though? Being in the database doesn’t mean you are receiving payments. I’ve opened many bank accounts with a SSN and never received or deposited a check from them
Reef… so you open several accounts for other people with their SSN… I pegged you to be smarter than what you just posted !! The moon is cheese !
