Hi guys, can find the answer to this. Bought a used rifle, has a newer cds scope that has never gotten redeemed yet. I assume I have to zero in the scope first but is there anything else I need to do before claiming the dial?
Go shoot multiple rounds and see which one your gun likes best. Then its pretty straight forward and simple. Put one on my 7mag but need a different rail I can only dial to about 400 which is plenty but it’s always fun to say u can shoot farther with a quick twist and no ballistics chart to look at first
As Brady mentioned find the round that shoots out the gun the best. Once you have that you can go to Leupold’s site and enter all the information and submit for the dial. Just be sure you have or can get all the info required for the website otherwise it will not work. Simple as range and twist to that range once you have it back.
