So lately I have been collecting some deep crank baits 10x,8x, DT16, DT20, D14 I am looking for some rod information and I stumbled on a rod I am looking for some input.

    Or

Powell Inferno Casting Rod 7’6″ Med Hvy

So any other rod recommendations, that can handle the deep deep cranking?

I have the kvd QUANTUM rods. They at first seem like an over kill, but after using for a while, they have been go to rods. Composite rods with a softer tip and about 8′. I think a boy 7-10 is actual. I throw a lot of Norman deep divers. 2 things I found. They handle the load very well and easy hook sets. Casting distance is a country mile. Not a bad priced rod either

    I totally spaced on this.

I just bought a Musky – Med Heavy / fast action, last fall I totally forgot about it.

Now I just have to get 5.4 Gear real on it.

I use a Quantum tour crankin stick, 7’11” med. hvy. also good for A-rigs & big swimbaits
