    Confederate flag? Really?

You have a problem with that? Do you know the true meaning of the flag? And I’ll give you a hint, it’s not about racism.

Oh boy here we go. Things don’t have intrinsic meaning attached to them. Meaning is developed and applied by each individual based off of their own experiences. Therefore what that flag means to you is just as valid and true as what it means to another.

Yes sir, I’ll try again I’m having a hard time getting a pic to post.i give up they keep coming up side ways..

Really, this is a common issue! If you turn your phone on silent, or maybe vibrate they will come out right side up. I don’t remember. That’s what I thought I read in a previous post?

Thanks crappie! Its hard to see in the picture but the only things I added or changed were the custom 500s&w magnum valve stem caps and the functional fishing rod antenna. The reel and handle are in the glove box with a small tackle as well.

a ’78? Christ, I’ve got underwear older than that. I’d say yes, you ARE doing this right.

I apologise if my flag bothers anyone on this site! I’m the farthest thing from a racist! That flag runs deep in my heritage! Why am I explaining this well because I love this site and absolutely hate drama! I get enough of that Monday through Friday lol…

my buddys dad had one just like that but it was green with a topper. Had the same stripe paint job and everything. He threw a mattress in the back and thats how us kids would travel with him on hunting trips. Brings back memories haha

Yep, it’s not original to the car but I thought it looked good. Also has the Trans Am rear spoiler since 1969 was the first year of the TA.

Is the 455 the original motor? ….Must a rare model if it was…..
    I had a 69 396 Camaro SS that was a blast!!

Nope, 1969 the biggest motor was a 400. This block is from a 70 GTO.

A few of my silencers. The one at the top is a Liberty Chaotic that I use deer hunting on my 308, the one below is a Palmetto State Defense 223, and the last one is a Liberty Kodiak TL on a Ruger 22/45

Thanks guys – appreciate the comments on the car.

This summer is 25 years with it and I’ll never sell it.

What else do people have out there??!!!

Current toys are a 98 firebird v6 (soon to do a v8 swap with some goodies on it) my 08 duramax with 93mm garret turbo compounded by a 63mm garret turbo with dsp5 mild tunes (have yet to get it on the dyno but should be in the 500+ hp mark and in the 900+ lb/ft of torque but we will see. Also have the 67 chevy 3/4 ton v6 with a 4 on the floor that I am currently in the middle of a resto on, it has only 36k miles. Then the aqualark and sea couch (mini speed boat and side by side jetski)

@akal, do you have a pick of the ’67? I had a ’71 3/4 ton in high school. Lifted with 36 inch tires. It was nicknamed “The Rebel Defender”. Man we beat in that thing. Good times. I want my next project to be a raked ’67 with the independent front.

Matt sir, that is a great looking firebird. I am very partial to them since my dad has a 67 firebird 400. He is the original owner and the car has never been restored. Just turned 50k on its 50th birthday.

@deertracker : Only one I have, had to screen shot a video of it, love the truck getting prepped for paint at the moment and hope to be spraying it this winter at some point, just trying to track down original color. I like the idea of the raked with independent front could really improve ride and handling, it would be one heck of an upgrade!

Awesome stuff Aaron…that 67 is sweet. I’d drop that thing down about 12″ with a full air ride suspension underneath it.

Stanley, I got into old cars because of my Dad. My Firebird was the first car we restored together. Awesome memories of that time we spent together wrenching on that car. He’s in his mid-sixties and still restoring cars.

Thanks Matt I am still wiping the drool off my face after seeing your firebird, what a beauty. I would drop the 67 but she 4×4 and kinda want to keep the stock ride height, she wont be flashy just a plain jane as she was on the farm type truck.

Can’t be too many 4×4’s of that vintage left out there. You have some awesome new trucks but that would be really cool as a boat and trailer hauler. Don’t see too many guys pulling their toys with a vintage truck.

Do you know the true meaning of the Swastika? Does it matter at this point?

Love the WS6 – I know some people don’t like the hoods but I think they look great. They are a great platform to create a ton of power on.

My only other toys beyond fishing gear is chainsaws and logs.. I could carve logs all day long if I was able too. Fishing is priority one on a free day but if I am not fishing I am making saw dust lately.

Toy 1: 2005 Ford Focus ZX4. Astonishing 130HP STOCK. I’ve been talking with my wife about wearing my old neck brace from racing while driving it to work and back, the power is NECK BREAKING…

Toy 2: 2006 Kawasaki KFX700. Mildly built up to around 60WHP, enough to beat most Raptors and all other race quads.

Toy 3(not pictured): 1993 Honda TRX90. Bought new. Used, abused and put away wet. It is now used as an early ice ATV and general yard tractor things…

Toy 3(just sold): 2016 Can Am Maverick XC. Stock motor, winch, roof, stereo and GPS.

There’s one other ATV and a snowmobile, but neither are anything special.
