I missed the Ice Show this past weekend, sick as a dog!

What did everyone buy? Were there hot deals to be had?

I didn’t buy it but, Jason Mitchell Thermal X2 with hyfax 800 out the door.

I stuck with Hyfax for the Otter and a few other small things.

I picked up an Otter Cottage XT650 for $450, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I got it at Fleet Farm though :), probably could have gotten a similar deal at the show with some negotiating, but cheapest I saw it was $500.

Vexilar FLX 28 for $570. No tax.

Otter 1200 Lodge, two otter rod holders, hyfax, travel cover, hitch pins and sportsman’s caddy for $1000.00. At Reed’s

I got the new Eskimo 6120i 6 sided insulated shelter for 320 from Reeds. Can’t wait to get out on the ice and try it out.

Reeds had ION 8″ for 450, I bought a strikemaster chipper light for 288. Seems reeds had the best price on augers..

Got an A#1 price on a marcum LX7, I promised not to disclose the price.
Other than….
At the end of the difficult negotiations I had to buy the two salesmen a beer.

That’s a great deal on the Otter Lodge! I would really like to get one to go with the Eskimo 949I hub style I have. I wonder why Otter doesn’t make a hub style?

I’d be interested in hearing how you like the new Eskimo 6120, wish they would have had that last year!

I bought the 8in ION at Reeds for $445 + tax. This is the best price I’ve found since I started looking. Let’s see, permanent fish house 5,000, Honda iu2000 $850, ION $445, winter resort fee $650 Total cost = sheer happiness.
