My roomate had to work till 9 so we recorded both games and started them then. The first one was fun because he is a husky fan and I a gophers. We both had our jerseys on. I then fell asleep in the first for the Wild game. Getting up at 4 for work caught up to me. -(
At least both good teams won!

Thanks to Fletch, I think it is safe to say we’ll be an elite squad for 5 years just based on where we are at today. At some point I imagine the Wild will win the cup at least once in that time frame.

Tuesdays game against the Penguins should be a good one. The teams lead the league in goal differential. The PP are polar opposites in regard to success, but hopefully the last game ignited the Wild.

Well, well, well. The Wild finally bust loose for not 1 but 2 on the PP AND Vanek finally finds the back of the net for one of them.

And I still love, love, love beating the Texass Team Rustlers.

The added firepower and the maturing of younger players make this team completely different. I think the added ingredient in this year’s Wild is not so much new faces as found confidence. Over the past 2-3 years, a 2 goal lead in the 3rd was never enough for the Wild. If they went in to the 3rd period leading 3-1, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time because you KNEW this was going to be close. Now, even a 2 goal deficit doesn’t put them down and out.

Remember….. Dallas didn’t steal the North Stars. Norm Green was running from a sex scandel. Hopefully the world never forgets what a pig he is.

If anyone has Wild / Flyers tickets for the 23rd of December that they want to part with let me know. I’m looking for 3, 4, possibly 5.

    Seems quiet in here tonight.

Only got to watch the first half, but it looks as though the wild are deep, just not that deep. These injuries are really hurting. No pun intended.

Nobody responded in the absence of Parise. Lines that were clicking aren’t so much anymore. They have to learn to deal with adversity.

I’m not blaming the refs when I say they stunk last night.

Out shooting your opponent is meaningless w/o goals.

Until their shots starting moving the twine this will only continue…

Many good signs but w/o wins its all for nothing… West standings are interesting. Hawks out, Wild out. Jets & Preds in. Hopefully the long season bodes well for the Wild & they learn to be more effective with their shots…

    Hot goalie roll

They always seem to run into hot goalies. It’s not a coincidence.

I see the Avs got blown out ( and shut out ) again last night. Could it be that the hot Wild start against the Avs gave us false hope & expectations?

I see the Wild fired their coach………….it was the coach of the Iowa Wild but that should satisfy us for a while.

Add to our woes. Scandella and Brodin look to have the same virus that is going around the NHL. Most likely mumps. Not good
