    At 7 Saturday morning I don’t think there will be much tanning. About the time it gets over it will be getting warm. That is the way it usually is—at least on the good years.

    Sounds like a blast. Maybe next year I’ll try to find a spot on a boat. Could never bring my piece of junk into that kind of traffic! This year I’m just hoping it’ll take a little pressure off the confluence for a day )

    my boat’s not too small, it’s too heavy, slow to respond, difficult to maneuver in tight spots. i could partially solve that with a nice bow-mount TM but a new maxxum 70 runs more than i paid for my craft, so that ain’t gonna happen. i’m usually just happy to be on the water, period.
