I have been looking to add trim tabs to my new to me 2190. I usually fish Lake of the Woods mainly on the north end. Which tabs do you suggest. I see a standard kit an edge mount kit. Some have switches others don’t. They look pretty easy to mount and I know I can easily accomplish it just don’t know which ones to buy. Thank you for your help.

The Lenco Limited Space tabs (4”x12”) are all you need. Those paired up with the Lenco LED key pad is a great setup that shouldn’t set you back more then $700 and a couple hours for the install.

I think my 2190 came with the 9×9 Tabs. Work great

Also, check out the PowrTran Pro Tabs. I would recommend 9×9’s..

I have 9×9 ProTabs on my 2060 and they’re awesome!

I went with the 9×9 Lenco’s on my WX2190. I looked at the Power Trans, and made the decision to put the Lenco’s on based completely on the size of the controller switch. I didn’t feel I could get the Power Tran switch in where I wanted it. They looked like a real good product and priced very fairly. I am having my marina put them on. I had some warranty work on the trailer being done, and decided to get a bunch of projects done that I have not had time to do, and that was one of them. Momma said no to a new boat this year, so she let me do a bunch projects I hadn’t got to because of time, and no heated area to work.

You will like them. Good luck and maybe see you at LOTW

I am getting the ZipWake Dynamic trim control system installed on my new Ranger. From what I understand, they automatically adjust to keep the boat level as well as providing operator input for nose height and are faster responding to changes.

I have the 4×12 Lenco’s with the led switch on my 2190 and I am extremely happy with them. 2 other guys in our club have the same setup and love them.

I have 4×12 on a WX2200 and they are awesome. Amazing how easy it is to balance the boat or lower the bow in rough water at slow speed

So just a heads up for tiller guys reading this post.

I was going to put the Zip Wakes on my Tiller but the controller has to face the stern, so that will be kind of a pain.

Just wanted to report back in. First time out with the 2190 since I added the Lenco 9×9 Trim Tabs. All I can say is, wow made a huge difference in how the boat ran. Best money I have spent in a long time. Really made a difference in how much slower the boat would plane. Turned and ran at angles to the waves. We had 3′ rollers from the north on Lake Erie Sunday afternoon. I was super impressed, I thought the WX2190 was pretty good rough water boat before, but no comparison to it now. Gonna be up there all next week starting on Friday. Can’t wait to work them some more.
