Leech lake shore/wader fishing

    Heading to cabin this weekend and going to make short drive over to leech at night after kids go to bed. Rather then deal with boat i am thinking of wader/shore fishing with husky jerks or standup jig and shiner. Any thoughts on spots. i have had some success on Stoney in past but dangerous on rocks at night. Walker piers ok too but was hoping for better option and confirmation the walleyes are still in shallow after dark. Any suggestions on other spots to try?

    I would try a light up slipbobber with a leach or minnow setup. sneaky and don’t spook them. that lake can be hot when it gets dark.
