Fishing has picked up on the lake. We had some great guides lead a returning group and the lake kicked out some nice limits of fish. The preferred methods were, pitching jigs/minnows in 4-6 feet of water, or using slip bobbers in the same depth. We did catch some fish a little deeper, but finding those wind blown points and rock bars is the ticket right now. Don’t be afraid to fish something without a name attached to it. Get away from the crowds, and fish a shoreline that has some wind. The biggest fish of the weekend was 28″ and everyone went home with fish. Shout out to Phil and Steve on the site, the helped out with the trip and they are coming back. Fishing is good, and the weather looks like it will be good again this weekend.
