leech lake regulations

    just wanted to know what the regulations are for walleye etc. any special regulations for panfish?also is it like red lake where you cant fish some places because of tribal waters? first time going there just want to make sure I know the laws.

    Agree, always double check when you get up there. But here are the special regs:

    LEECH LAKE
    (Cass County)
    walleye: All from 20″ to ­26” must be immediately released. One over 26” allowed in possession. Possession limit four.

    This info is from page 34 or the 2016 Mn fishing regs located on the Mn DNR website.

    No special regs noted for panfish, so state regs should apply. See regs starting on page 14.

    The lake is not restritced by reservation like Upper Red.

    Ill check it out thanks alot. Ill give a report when i get back. Main focus will be perch and walleyes.
