Leech Lake Mayflies

    Anyone know the typical dates where Leech get’s hit by mayflies? I’m looking to go up there in mid to late June and hoping to avoid the swarms. Seems like it’s typically closer to the 1st of July, but it was also an early spring. Any insight?

    It depends on the weather. These pictures are from June 11th 2016

    They are hatching now.

    I suspect there are multiple hatches of different mayflies throughout summer.
