I will be fishing leech with some guys from work probably out of the federal dam area and need some pointers? Will the leech and crawler bite be better than minnows at this point? What depths would be likely holding fish at this time? I know leech is better if the wind is blowing but would you if no wind?Pull cranks or possibly crawlers on so death? I’m not sure if this might be a tournament weekend but after not seeing many reports lately I was hoping some could give some advice to make the weekend? Thanks for any information.

A spinner and crawler/leech is great for searching for fish as you can cover water pretty quickly. Once you find them, don’t forget to drift back through with a light jig or rig to maximize your bites. This works well anytime the water is 60 degrees or above.

If the wind is really blowing, I start on shallow wind blown rocks and weeds with a jig and minnow/Leech.

Pulling crankbaits at night is always a good option.
