Has anyone fished leech lake in the last week or so. Just curious of what the water Temps are and how the bite has been. Myself and a few friends are heading there for a long weekend this next weekend. We normally mostly fish Perch and Walleye’s but would like to possibly do a little panfishing as well. If anyone has any updates on the conditions and the bite I would appreciate the Info. I’ll be sure to post a update after my weekend. Hoping for light winds and cooler temps.

Haven’t been up there this fall yet, but usually get out a few times each fall. I like jigs or rigs and minnows or plastics shallow during daylight, and running cranks shallow after dark. I’m heading up in a few weeks, so look forward to your report!

It has not been the best. I do hear a lot of the guides are giving a lot of expensive rides lately. LOL! Right time right place and you do well but you have to move and look harder. Water is still pretty warm so fall patterns have not fully set in yet.

Fishing has been fairly good on Cut Foot Sioux Lake and Winnie. Just working the weed line with spinners and small cranks. Weed lines and wind are the key. I’m moving fast until I find active fish. A lot of slot fish.

Haven’t talked with the guys lately but the ones who stay at leech during the summer troll cranks at night, 8-12′ firetiger raps.

I was up over the past weekend. Walleye were on-off a bit, still holding to more of a summertime pattern. Surface temps were in the low 70s.

I fish out of Pine Point, and we had our best success on inside turns, 14-18′ of water in the morning and evening. Best baits for us were #9 shadrap, Jigging raps, and rippin raps. I saw several boats getting perch while jigging.

This was on their web site although it doesn’t make sense to me, the 10th was a Monday.

    Any Muskie guys here?

Tourney was this past weekend. Don’t know if it went through Monday though.
