Me and some buddies have been up to leech a few times this winter and done really good on the perch with some walleyes mixed in. We’ve been going out from pine point. Our most recent trip was this past Tuesday and Wednesday which was our best, fishing shallow 5-7 feet of water. Most of our fish came on dead sticks with large fatheads, we also caught a fair amount (perch) on jigging raps and spoons, all are walleyes came on tip ups with suckers. When going after the perch don’t be afraid to use a larger presentation, we caught a handful of perch on tip ups with 4-6 inch sucker minnows. Hope this helps and good luck!
