I remember the summer that came out. I was working in a cabinet shop and it was played every 20 – 30 minutes all summer long. I thought it was a good enough song the first 300 times I heard it. Since then not so much. I almost would rather listen to Madonna. Almost but not quite that bad. Tiny Tim I for sure would prefer over that.

As for Lee Greenwood’s song, not that I sit around and listen to it often. But I thought it sounded pretty good on the south lawn of the White House last night. Fireworks were a good touch too

Towards the end of Tiny Tim’s career, he married someone from Minneapolis, died while performing in Minneapolis and is buried at Lakewood Cemetery. Quite the character. It was funny to hear my dad gripe about him when he was on tv.
