Ok, given up fishing the Wisconsin opener after 30 plus years and looking for a cabin rental recommendation on Leach for MN opener or the 1st 2 weeks sometime. Would prefer to be on the water and have a dock. Nothing fancy just for the boys ! Also are they going to hard to get ?? Thanks for your input.

Brindley’s is a great place. Looks and feels like a fishing resort. Middle part of the lake.

I would just avoid an Anderson resort if possible. Had a couple stays with them and not impressed. The resorts were fine the people not so much.

Thought maybe just me but yeah, avoid Andersons and they have a few.
Trappers Landing I’ve heard is nice. Bridleys good too.

I would loom the vrbo way or airbnb. We have been doing that the last few years and it is cheaper and more private then any resort if you like that. We find them on the lake usually with private doc typically

I would also look at Vermilion & would want to book a guide for at least half a day, no shame there, those lakes are huge and complex. Good Luck!

I would check out Woodland resort on Leech located in Kabekona bay. Pretty nice set up and great people.

Trappers landing and Acorn Hill are the only two places I’ve been too and both were nice with there own marina.
