been down to LL last 4 weekends trying for pike have not had 1 flag tried several locations as far as in front of marina to down on the lake with no luck! 1 person says lake is low on oxygen? camera shows green weeds and some perch with a few pike swimming by. I told this fellow I believe it was weather related? any input?

How much ice is there? My neighbor said there wasn’t much.

Enough to drive on. So plenty of ice.

I know it gets tough there when there’s deep snow. My guess is O2 related but I don’t have any proof. Went there last Saturday… perch were half way down in 6FOW on the lake and very lethargic. Not a good sign to me when a bottom oriented fish is suspended halfway down.

I don’t know where Lawrence Lake is, But if it has near as much snow cover as some of the lakes I’ve been on lately, low 02 is probably a factor. I think we are going to have a fair amount of shallow lakes with winter kill off this year. There can’t be much sunlight getting thru with all the snow cover. A LOT less holes being drilled because of the poor travel conditions is not going to help either.
