Lawn Mower Warranty

I purchased a Husqvarna TS348 lawn tractor in 2019 with a lifetime mower deck warranty. The welds on the deck came apart and Husqvarna will not honor warranty. Anyone know of a company that will honor warranty for my next lawn mower purchase.

It was warrantied for the life of the mower deck, which in this case was roughly 2 seasons. Seems like you have rougher than average use on it so maybe you should look at something in a commercial lineup like xmark.

What was the reason for denying the claim?

x2. There is a reason they denied it. Did you have any sort of damage caused by hitting rocks, etc?
Sandy soils are really tough on mower decks. My dad had to patch his mower deck on his John Deere multiple times. His wasnt one of those cheap JDs either from like Home Depot. I bought a Simplicity in 2001 and never touched a thing on it. Bought a new Simplicity Conquest Fall of 2021. They have the best cut IMO and are tough as nails. Heavy steel everywhere you look. They dont give them away however.

Sic Keith Elison on them. Maybe it’ll distract him(Keith) from harassing normal folks.

Looks like something got hooked on the bottom side of the deck and tore the metal at the point where it had been stamp-formed downward.

Remove the deck, clean to bare metal on both sides, clamp it back tight, and weld on both sides. I would then repaint to prevent rust. On the bottom, I’d coat with some kind of rust-stop, again to prevent the weld from starting to rust.

Exactly the right way to fix it.
That weld didn’t just fail it was ripped or tore. Pretty easy to tell that from the pic
