Looking to take a fishing trip to Canada in August. Anyone have any advise for a good place to go? Looking for Walleye quality and quantity, as well as lake trout, and possibly pike fishing. Open to drive to or fly in, and preferably reasonably priced (not sure what it typically costs maybe less than 1,000 per person for a week?) Thanks for any help!

I have visited Camp Quetico for years. It is located appx 40 miles east of Atikokan Ontario. It is a drive-to camp. They have access to appx 30 lakes. I caught my PB 5 lb smallmouth and my son caught his PB 39 inch Northern. My 2020 trip got cancelled but I have every intention of returning next summer.

    Welcome to In-Depth Jack.

Assuming the borders opens (doubtful) you will need to call the resorts to see whats available. Most rolled last years deposits forward so lodging will be at a premium.

Be patient and wait for a announcement of the border opening.

    cheers

Highly unlikely the border will be open in my opinion
