A few of us are going up at end of month for one last trip before winter. I’ve only ever fished up there in winter. Assuming it may be a crank bait bite and I have 0 as I don’t fish them. Can anyone post their top 5 sizes and colors this time of year? Thanks

I would assume you could pull spinners too if you wanted. Search Lake of the Woods fishing reports and most of the resorts will have fairly recent reports to give you a good idea. Enjoy!

At times I think almost anything works up there. He talks about colors in the report.

I like shad style of baits for fall at LOW. I like to use shad raps and tail dancers. I start of with 5, then 6 and 7, then progress into stick baits as the water gets colder. When it gets later in the fall, talking around 45 degrees I like to switch over the jigs with shiners.
