Anyone know how to sharpen Strikemaster laser blades or how it’s done? Do they have a special jig and tools?

I use a diamond plate to sharpen. Be careful not to change the pitch on the edge. I do it often so I only need to touch the edge up. Never run them dull

I’ve had success with a tiny sand paper flapper wheel on a Dremel before. Take the blades off and just follow the curve with the wheel spinning down to the cutting edge, then put on a buffing wheel and hit the bottom side and cutting edge again.

randy, your able to do it that way with laser blades? i thought about that but didnt know how that would work since the blades are curved with the cutting edge on the inside of the curve

I came across that site while searching online. Looks like $25 and by the time I have to pay to ship them and the hassle it’s almost easier to spend $50 on a new set

I get it, but Rosemount is still on the edge of the Cornfields. For now anyway.

You could ship them to my place and I could walk them over. It looks like they charge $10

I have a small fine diamond plate that is about 1/2” wide. Small pocket sized. Just follow the contour

I have a $10 dollar strike master blade sharpener that works pretty well. Just make sure to use gloves when sharpening I learned my lesson when I cut my hand opens pretty bad a couple of years ago while sharpening blades.

i saw those on a youtube video and they dont look much different than a regular knife sharpener so i didnt know how well they worked. i watched some videos of people using them while cringing waiting for them to slip and cut there fingers open

Agree. $24.95 & shipping to sharpen my $29.95 Pistol blades. Seems crazy to me, why do you even consider it?

Why? Because he is asking about Strikemaster Lazor blades NOT Eskimo Pistol blades.
Lazor blades run $49.49 – $66.99 plus $5.00 shipping per Rapala’s web page.

Yea the lazor blades are more expensive. I think I saw $52 plus tax at scheels the other day for 8” blades

I did mine on my knife sharpener last year and they cut perfectly. I was worried if it would ruin them. But it didn’t

I buy new till I get 3 or 4 sets. Then send them together to dilute the shipping charge.

I am referring to their overall pricing. My pistol bits would be $24.99+ shipping.
