Pretty much a novice at largemouth fishing. I’m looking for a basic package of hooks for plastics. What sizes, types and brands do you recommend? I’ll be tossing jerk baits, worms, lizards, finesse worms, etc. I’ve got drop shots, neko’s and ned rigs hooks already.
    Thanks!

I am not brand specific, but i like 3/0-4/0 round bend worm hooks.I use them on 4-6inch worms, creature baits, craws, and stick baits.I use the wide gap hooks on tubes usually 2/0 or 3/0.I will once in awhile drop down to 2/0 round bend on the smaller baits.

I usually use 3/O to 5/O and match the bait.

I think in most cases you are better off oversized, than undersized.

We use ewg hooks in 2/0 to 5/0 depending on plastic size. I used to use gamakatsu exclusively, but have been using Bass Pro brand for the last year.

I use Gamakatzu EWG in 1/0 to 6/0 depending on bait. Use standard wire size for 1/0 and 2/0. Use Superline size for the rest.
