Don’t have one but I want one. Have heard that some like them better than the Beckman nets.

Have seen these the last 2 years at the Fishing Expo in Madtown. Look like a great net but they didn’t have the model I wanted at the show and wouldn’t give the show discount on an order. No discount no order from me. When you are spending that kind of $$$$ I want to get it right the FIRST time.

I was wondering who had the barber pole colored rs net at the fyb. I broke my ego on a pike so im in the market again. How does the extender operate on the rs?

Slider operates using a cam lock device. Kind of like the quick adjustment style adjuster on a bicycle seat on newer vintage bikes.

Say hello the next time you see me out there. wave After I lost my Beckman, I bought an ego. What a POS. It is sitting in the corner of my garage. My RS net extender was frozen to start the Fyb. Just spray it with wd40 to start the day and all is good. Now I know.

I just ordered a new beckman net, a couple months ago with a 4-7 ft extending handle. They’re made by p-line now

Have 2 RS Nets and they’re the cats ass! No digging the dang hooks out of the net, and the extension handle is nice. Very sturdy net as well.

I have a Blue netting with blue handle in my boat and I bought my dad one for Christmas orange netting and orange handle.

So now that you have all been through a season with your RS Net’s, how do you like them?

Dutch, you bought the GreenBay. Any concerns with size and wish you would have gone with the Kelly Island?

On the netting size, I’m tending more towards the smaller 1″ netting, but it seemed like most of you went with the 2″ netting. Isn’t the larger netting going to let the cranks fall or the gill of a smaller fish more likely to get caught in the netting? I would be interested in any feedback after a full season.

Currently favoring the Green Bay with 1″ netting.

They are a very tough net. Kind of heavy but thats what I would expect with a quality net I guess. I have no regrets. Some seem to think the price is high but I have a shed full of nets that I thought would be good but didn’t end up living up to expectations.

I bought the kellys island. It’s a great net. I would purchase again. Even if it was more expensive

I am very happy with my net. As stated earlier, they are a little heavy but that is due to how well built they are. The only thing I found is during the winter because the tolerances are so tight if you net a fish it will freeze if you try to extend the net later in the day. Other than that the net is flawless for me.

Earlier this spring, I replaced a frabill conservation net with a beckman net from reeds sports.

I’ve been in boats with the RS Nets. I don’t know what they use for components, but I’m positive the handles are filled with quikcrete. Being by myself very often, I have to one-hand the landing net. That leave the RS net off my wish list.

The Beckman has performed very well for me all year.
