And after 34 years in public education and watching the level of leadership competence there I am completely “unsurprised” at what Walz is like. His vision of utopia and every kid getting a trophy is not setting our kids up for success. The poor downtrodden of this planet need help- sure, no argument. Are my tax dollars helping EVERYONE on the planet?

Wow, I don’t know how you can get to where you are. There is NOTHING right coming out of any of the current leadership. If you are okay with it so be it. When the pendulum starts swinging the other way is when it’s going to get really scary. Speaking for myself ( a domestic terrorist cause I attend school board mtgs and speak my mind) that’s what I worry about.

There are millions of people somewhere on the spectrum between owning property and living off the government. Being a land owner isn’t the single determining factor that makes a person worthy of the vote.
It’s amazing to me how folks would like to turn the clock back to the 1700s. Ahh, but I bet the fishing was great back then at least.
Wisconsin is just like MN. There are 72 counties in the state but 8 cities/counties (Madison,Milwaukee,GB,Janesville,Beloit,EC,Superior,LaCrosse) dictate what happens in the state. The population centers mandate what they want and to hell with the rest of us.
I agree with umy. The electoral college vote needs to be updated/altered on how it works.
