Seen that. This crap needs to stop. I wonder how many batteries it will take my parents to mow 8 acres of grass.

Wow. Luckily I bought a new cub cadet last year that should last a while. What a joke.
Luckily Wisconsin is a few minutes away. I’ll buy my stuff over there instead of here.

My lawn mower is starting to get older. I guess this will be my new one when it’s life is over.

How heavy do you think a 26 hp leaf blower will be? Might have to get a diesel one. Glow plug is not spark. That or I will have to go to WI to buy a new one. I am sure every apartment dweller is for this.

Since most of the electric power distribution system in this country are older and outdated, and will be unable to carry the additional load needed when everything goes electric. Have any of the politicians thought about that and where will they get the additional electric generation from? Last year in California they already told people not to plug in their cars during peak periods because there wasn’t enough energy. Now with more and more electric vehicles and electric outdoor equipment there will be more and more peak periods. Solar and wind is not dependable and both come with increased costs. This will cause energy prices to skyrocket and will affect the poor more than the wealthy. Not saying that we shouldn’t be more green, but it seems the politicians don’t have a clue and just want to jump on the green bandwagon.

Do they ever look at the carbon footprint it takes to go “green” compared to the technology of the new existing small engines footprint?

But, but, but climate crisis! This state is fubar. On the plus side, it should make for some good job security for the women and children mining for our minerals overseas.

With every piece of proposed legislation in this state and country, I want to move further and further into the middle of nowhere.

There’s a big difference between “proposed” and passing. I won’t be rushing out to buy any new equipment to “beat the ban”. 0.0% chance of this actually passing.

The energy 2040 carbon-free bill does say electricity. So can we assume natural gas heating (or rural propane) is allowed ?

when i read all the carbon free and solar stuff i used to get my underwear in a twist jester but in all reality i dont see it happening in my lifetime..even beyond. the power grid cant handle it now sometimes. my suggestion would be to turn the power off to the houses that push this stuff when power goes down. like the state capital and white house first!!!!!!

the Union i worked for and belonged to worked in the power industry, i got to hear alot of things. the craziest part was the amount of subsidies that the solar, windmill stuff gets is mind boggling!!1

Too bad it won’t go anywhere. What would be so bad about leaving it to the states? I can think of a lot more Departments in DC that could be terminated.

What I like the most is that the politicians don’t understand how short lived a battery is.
How many years will you get out of your lawnmower batteries before they go bad? Now because manufacturers are smart you will need to buy a new mower because they change the battery configuration.
Then instead of just having cordless drills that you can’t buy a battery for you will have a lawnmower as well.
