Went out for a few hours late this afternoon. Was more a trip to play with the new HDS7 and HDS5 I put on the boat yesterday, but I squeezed in a little fishing as well. Hit the same spot as Tuesday, pulling boards again in shallow water. Wasn’t quite as productive as Tuesday but I still put a few fish in the boat.
Had one slot walleye, one slot sauger, a keeper walleye that went back, and 4 short walleyes. I did manage the Lake Wisconsin grand slam though. A walleye, a sauger, a white bass, and a sheephead. Well, maybe not a grand slam, but four different fish species.
Got done fishing, loaded the boat, hooked up the trailer lights and POW, blew the fuse for the running lights. Checked the lights over and couldn’t see a problem. Changed the fuse and it blew within a couple seconds. Looks like I have a short somewhere to hunt down. I hate trailer light problems.
