First time on lake wisconsin for walleye/Sauger’s and it was a good trip. Fogged in until about 10:30 slow moving on the water until the fog lifted. Fished the tressels for a few hours fishing was slow but fish were caught if you worked for them. My son Ben landed a nice 24 1/2 in sauger left the camera and scale in the cooler in the truck, forget we each had our camera phones. A good trip for us lots of fish and 3 nice eaters to bring home 10 to 17 in fish.
    Can’t wait for Thankgiving weekend!

    Nice fish guys!

That truly is a shame that you didn’t have your camera. I would have drove the boat straight back to the ramp, got the camera, took the picture and then released the fish.

Or, I would have asked another boat out there if they would take the picture for me. Certainly, someone would have helped you out in that situation.

No picture of what may have been a new state record! Bummer!

No kidding Joel.. I would have comissioned an artist to create a oil painting if I had to, to get a picture of that fish. That is a monster of a sauger. I want to see what one that size would look like.

Heres a picture of a 19 1/2 incher just to give you idea what the 24 and 3/4 incher must be like.

Too excited and in a hurry to get it back in the water. Ben wants to go back ASAP. Two weeks ago in Red Wing he caught a 22 in. sauger that fish was 4lb 8 oz acording to my new digitsl scale which was in the cooler in the truck Saturday.
