Took my youngest out yesterday – lots of thick nasty algae at the Sauk County Launch on the west side of the lake – went south towards the dam. Not so much as a nibble on our crawler pieces and waxies. I must admit, it’s been quite a while since I’ve targeted just panfish, and my unfamiliarity with this lake rose it’s ugly head. Algae coming from the north, the south end had no algae as of pre-noon yesterday. Hope it doesn’t stick around long. Had to hit the car wash after take out to power off the 1/8″ thick green skin glued on everything.
