Guy I’m fishing with is on call this weekend and would have to make it to Maple Grove within 45 min. So what’s good in that area?Lake Sarah used to be pretty good-still good? Could we make it to MG in 45? Other lakes. The life my friend helps save could be yours!

I’m no expert, but if I were you I’d go to Minnetonka, endless opportunities on that lake.
Sorry, but I haven’t been ice fishing in a while. I’ve never fished Sarah. Fish Lake is an option. Not sure how it is in the winter, but I see people out there. Medicine isn’t far. I used to do well there.
No intense fishing on lakes around that area man. If I had info I’d throw some your way. My father lives in Greenfield, which is a stones throw from many of those lakes, he usually heads half hour west yet if that tells ya anything.
There was a good lake near Maple Grove. Word got out this winter and now the fish are gone.
Eagle and Medicine have fish.
Sounds like a good opportunity to do some prospecting. Give a report.
Thanks for all the replies. Prospecting is best done from a boat-plan on learning some things about ‘Tonka this year(from a boat). Know of a couple spots that might be good on Sarah just not sure if their are road out there.
