Just got back from the first laker trip of the year. Travel was decent, there was quite a bit of slush but not enough for us to stay away from. Fishing was pretty good with several fish caught on Saturday and Sunday between 3 guys. White did the trick (shocking) on walls and points. We went out of Morson. Sabeskong had most of the slush with whitefish itself having quite a bit too. We have newer sleds and were able to outrun the slush/stay on top of it. Overall, a great trip, never once got stuck and caught lots of quality fish. Can’t wait till the March trip!!
