This will be my first year using large 3.5-4″ flutter/salmon spoons on Lake Winnipeg. I have always used lipless crankbaits in the past. How are guys attaching the spoons to your line? Direct with a cross-loc/crankbait snap or swivels? I’m assuming no swivels but may be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used the flutter spoons up there yet. I’m pretty sure most guys use a small swivel to connect braid to mono/flouro. Then a snap to the lure. This is what I plan on doing.

Either or I prefer the swivel myself. They have been stellar this year. With the forage base crash, the eyes are adapting. They still pound cranks, but the rj spoons have been phenomenal.
