Was out yesterday from 2 to 7pm. Learned what not to do this trip. Headed out to the reefs south of oshkosh to glass water. Worked the breaks and transitions jigging half crawlers. Nothing but goats jigging. In know…no wind. Headed out past long point jigged in some breeze. Goats. Put the jig rods away and trolled. More goats.

Pulled up and headed north of Oshkosh to Horseshoe reef area. Trolled up and around the reef complex. A couple white bass and a crappie. Marked fish but could not get them to commit.

This time the lake won. Noticed most boats were either fishing for perch or running from place to place to find fish. Also noticed that people are really starting to get rude on the lake now. When the walleye were throwing themselves on our hooks a few weeks ago most people were civil even when super crowed on the reefs. Saw many cases were boat would come like a rocket right in the middle of a pack of boats that were anchored and start trolling. We had a boat run right at us while we were jigging. We looked at each other and said do they not see us. (No one else near us for a mile at least) They pulled up close then started trolling. We left later then hear they come again. Almost like they were following us…like we were catching fish…LOL

Still a great day on the water under bluebird skies with mild temps.
