Hello everyone I am planning on fishing a new lake for walleyes and I need a little help. The place I am going to target is two rock points. One is more gradual that the other and starts at 5ft and goes out to about 25 and the other is steeper and starts at 5 and goes out to 35 quickly. I was wondering what would be some tips on how to fish it, what to use, and what time of the day to fish these locations. Thanks.

How many feet of clarity, and what depth is the weedline at?

It’s fairly clear and on the top photo it’s usually out to about to 15ft and the second one with the island it’s at the second line where it points out it turns to gravel

80% of my walleyes as of late have come from the very edge of the weedlines. Stocked lakes tend to be that way.

What gixxer said X2- that’s why I asked where the weedline is at- weedline points and corners leading up to those points can be good, and on some lakes for no apparent reason a straightline of weeds on a sharp drop to basin will be best. Start out with bottom bouncer and spinner, as u get more experienced, you can do some pretty crafty stuff rippin cranks, and pitching jigs to the sweet spots when u find them.

Lake Delevan in south east Wi? I’ve been doing really good out there the last 5 weeks. Pitch weed lines. Leech or crawler hasn’t seemed to matter but on leeches you will catch more bass. Send me a PM.
