Lake Vermilion 8/13-14

    Fished the east side midday and evenings, found fish scattered deep (17-22’). Picked up a couple on leadcore, transitioned shallower as the day went. Eventually found myself working a rocky bay, drifting leeches in 10-13’. Found more concentrated, active fish and was able to throw some good eaters in the cooler. Water was at 68, and some buddies did well working humps with crawlers.
