Made a trip to Colville then on the Frontenac State Park today to see the sites.

The launch behind the gas dock is open and a whole crowd of eagle watchers there to help cheer anglers on. Still a lot of eagles.

There were plenty of the adventurous type out on Pepin today. I’m sure if you’re an avid Pepin fisherman you’ll know where the safe ice is. Me? I’m thinking of collecting maple sap. I’m angry at walleyes, just not that angry. )

Couple more. Notice the tracks on the broken up ice…

The launch behind the gas dock has been open for a couple weeks. That one isn’t a public launch though is it? I thought it was private for that marina. Either way cool shots of the ice breaking up. I wouldn’t have my truck out there.

I’m not sure if it’s public or not although it’s on the Park property. Rigs were parked all over the place.

The WI Back Channel ramp was the busiest I’ve ever seen it on Saturday. Rigs were parked 1-1.5 blocks from the Wood Shed. Yesterday was a bit more normal.
