Has anyone been out since the storm? If so, how’s the water look? I was supposed to go down there tomorrow but I am questioning if it will be worth it. Any thoughts?

I wasn’t on Pepin this morning but 11 miles up stream and it looked the same as yesterday and the day before.

Wet, flowing down stream, see about 12″ and rising slightly.

    Fish on…

Any luck? I am trying to figure out if the 1.5 hour trip will be worth it. I know I can’t catch them from the couch but I don’t know how this much rain will change this body of water.

High water is always good!! Just go shallower. I’d go any chance you get!!

I’m also planning a weekend trip next weekend and curious how it will effect the fishing on pepin.

River is coming up and muddy here in Fountain City. Well south of Lake Pepin. Looks to take a big rise in the next coupe days down here.
