    Hey if anyone has any ideas on lake Pepin would you mind sharing.Im looking to target big walleye this year.Im just wondering if I should fish deep or shallow.3 ways or cranks.All the help would be wonderful otherwise I’m shooting blind this weekend.

    You should try shallow first,then deep and then in between shallow and deep(middle of the road)If you find nothing in those areas then you should move on and try in between middle of the road and shallow if theres nothing there try inbetween middle of the road and deep.Its pretty easy.

    I’ll give u a real answer and help a guy out! I myself find my fishing a lot of rip rap trolling the windy shorelines if I can try to and most of your walleyes will come in less than 15 fow so this whole middle of the road thing is ridiculous. Start in 15 and work into 8 or the opposite and you will find the fish. Jointed no. 5 or 7 in bright and natural colors should do you just fine. Fire tiger,red craw and blue or purple are among my favorites
