Definitely is not! Unfortunately even the best of intentions and regulations have not stopped invasive species from spreading. Both plant and animal.

It’s not surprising that zebra mussels finally found their way to LOTW. It’s not the end of the world.

I’m hoping the Z-mussels clean the water enough that there will be a night bite.

It’s very sad that this happened but I believe it’s inevitable in every popular body of water. All the safeguards in place today are good but not foolproof. I have bunks on my trailer. I can go to any infested lake, clean it by the book, and still have veligers on the bunk carpet to spread to the next lake. I’ve checked my bunks after sitting out of water for 5 days and they’re still wet under the boat. I’m not in favor of spreading any of this but I believe it’s going to continue.
