Lake of the woods walleye

Looks like a early start to walleye this year. Not best idea to post videos of yourself targeting out of season fish. Could be wrong but looks intentional.

When does Canada open?

With bass and pike being open up there, I would think a warden would likely give him the benefit of the doubt.

Netting an out of season fish… this guy should be BUSTED. or at least slapped

This doesn’t tell date filmed but only had two days of warmer weather the whole 18 days I spent on river from late March till closure. The last two days were decent so could be from then. This guy’s sporting ido clothing.

Keep in mind there is more than one lake of the woods out there. The guy is probably in Ohio or around there since his other vid is from Erie.

Probably a shoreline ice shortage in ohio. Just guessing with weather latley. But I have been wrong before.

Anyone recognize the landing area or shoreline area? There’s only so many LOW landings. I’d thinks someone would recognize where he’s launching if it’s in MN.

I agree. That first video is definitely not Lake of the Woods, Ontario. Look at the shoreline houses and trees. Dead giveaway IMHO.

And the second video is a different guy in a completely different boat.

First video is commented that it is not out of season. Feel free to delete sorry for false accusation

Doesn’t look familiar to anything I’m familiar with on the MN LOW b.ut it’s a big lake. I would vote for somewhere other than MN
